This picnic elopement for two at an Upstate NY Airbnb will completely change how you define an elopement day
For all the couples out there dreaming of a quiet wedding day for two, this inspirational elopement story is for you.
Soon after meeting Madison and Paul, I knew right away they would make the perfect couple for this picnic elopement styled shoot. Both have a super relaxed and quiet demeanor, and Madison has that true boho soul you only come across a few times in your life.
They reminded me of all the other couples I’ve met throughout my journey as an elopement photographer who crave the idea of a quiet elopement day, but don’t necessarily crave the idea of hiking to the top of a mountain or getting soaked under a waterfall. Some couples just crave a slow day just for them of sleeping in, reading their favorite books, and picnicking on their favorite foods as the day comes to a close.
You see, not all elopements have to be bold or adventurous.
Not all eloping brides need to wear a backpack or hiking boots. Some of the most beautiful elopement days are the ones spend at a beautiful Airbnb, decorating your own wedding cake, and enjoying a beautifully styled picnic for two.
For this picnic elopement, we sought out all the perfect Upstate New York vendors to bring our vision to life. We started by choosing The Kester Homestead as our AirBnb, as they have the most beautiful sunroom off the side of a farmhouse that would allow Madison and Paul to have the slow and golden elopement morning they were craving. Together, Pretty Little Vintage Co and Whitney Nichols Florals knocked it out of the park with their boho picnic styling. Charissa and Eilish gave Madison the perfectly effortless hair and makeup look, and Lovely Bride Rochester provided the stunning boho-inspired wedding dress; a blush and merlot embroidered gown from Rue de Seine.
All in all, our golden boho picnic elopement dreams came to life.
